i tell them that i love and that they are beautiful each day. are they capable of comprehending that they are loved?

All I know is that when I buy fresh flowers and I get in a really bad argument in my home my flowers are dead the following morning.
I know that most flowers have a life span of 4 -5 days.
So yes I do believe that plants are emotionally sensitive.

Plants do not have the ability to reason, and are thus not able to understand complex concepts. Is this a serious question? If so, ask yourself this - do plants have a brain?

I believe that they only have the capability to respond to the necessary nutrients that you provide them.

Unfortunately, the emotional sunshine that emanates from your heart cannot be perceived by the plants.

I always talk to my plants as I walk by them. It makes me feel better and it hasn't hurt them yet. Give it a try!

when you take care and nurture plants they bloom and give you a display of beauty for you to look at...in return for the care you give them...
