I agree with you. Unfortunately, one of my children likes country. So, I have to hear it every once in a while. I don't like pop either. Fergie makes me wanna do bad things. If you don't wanna listen to awful music, don't have kids. They inflict it on you every chance they get. Nobody told me until it was too late.

I'd rather have my gums scraped then listen to Country & Western. <----I'm with you, but I would have and always say, I'd Rather have my Body Hairs (insert part or parts) pulled out by pliers! LoL, but true. Other than that I love or can enjoy just about anything else (and anything in the Christian Genre is my Fave' ; )
...And to those who do not like Rap, you have just not heard a good song... Rap is Based or Poetry or Story Telling (like most other music)... so much of the Rap I listen to is Voicing Opinions and Change, and MOST very Poetic -you could so read it to someone, or quote it and someone would say I like that or it's deep -but tell them it's rap, and they make a face or walk off... it's Funny.

I think that I have to agree with you........ never have liked country music.... I am really a rock chick.... I love everything from the Beatles to Metallica............ I used to even think that I wouldn't like rap music, but some of it I can tolerate....... I lived in Tulsa, Ok for a while, and they even play country music in the grocery stores.... like everywhere..... I hated it...
