like all of us at anytime period in history.many other otherwise pleasent people in the mediavael ages laid the groundwork for what Hitler did. a person can view other people as such a threat large numbers have to be killed. Hitler did not view jews as threat or not just as one but as racially inferior. Other times this can also happen after fighting someone for awhile also first a person justifies the war by saying they are fanactical and there is no option then it slides into we are better than them then a belief in racial superiority. Another example can be found in American soldiers in Vietnam they began to call Vietnamese Gooks. In other wars people are called Ragheads or Towel Heads revealing a racism that was also prevalent before Vietnam against Asians or Americans with Asian apperance. Wars make people racist or the belief that somehow you are in a battle against some ''evil'' people. this can be ignored or be known but a person can suppress the knowledge and be racist to an extent even when they know better. the people who oppose that much talked about topic can be nice people even though they could be considered racist.constant stereotyping of every Mexican sneaking across the border illegally. could be disguised racism instead of saying they discrimminate against people from Mexico they hide behind the illegall term.

Good and Bad is a reletive term. However with persons like Hitler their motives gives us greater insight under their minds. Hitler was the product of his circumstances. He was bad, no doubt but most of the history we have of him through people who want to portarya him as the greatest evil. Let's think if he was bad or evil or may be had something good about him. John Toland book on Adolf Hitler is a fair assesment about Hitler. Do read it.

Yes there were some remarkably good things about Hitler. He brought hope back to a country and people that had a decade of repression and poverty. He took care of the poor. He made the country proud and strong.

Problem was, he used hate in order to get some of that done, and that is the part that is unforgivable.

The eventual outcome is, of course, well known.

Peace

Hitler wasn't all bad. He unified a country and stimulated their economy. And I'm sure he helped an old lady cross the road when he was younger.

Vegetarian, Painter, Genius, nope, other than the fact that he was nuts, he would have been an OK guy. Here's a funny video on WWII and Hitler, by Eddie Izzard if you know him.

All of the good planning Hitler did basically gets overshadowed by his war planning. For instance, Hitler was responsible for modernizing Germany's highway system (so he could move troops around the country easier). He had Germany modernize their census in the first computerized census (so he could track citizens for conscription, racial purity, and the "final solution"). He started jobs programs years before FDR's New Deal, but many of them were in support of the military.
True, no man is all evil, but many evil acts overshadow the good. Years from now, how many good acts will we remember from George Bush?

I do not think that anything he accomplished that was positive could make up for the evil that he managed to bring to the world. So, yes everything is bad with Adolph.
