I feel so sorry fro patrick because he's a quite old man who doesn't do anything offebsive to anyone and this happens. I know it's just eastenders and its not real but this sort of thing can happen in reallife and i think patrick is sweet and he didn't deserve that. He's so scared he wants to go back to trinidad.

It does happen in real life. What planet are you on.

It DOES happen in real life. Last week a man in Warrington was murdered by a gang of thugs, simply because he asked them to stop vandalising his property.

I do feel sorry for Patrick becuase lots of elderly people are having their lives made a misery and living in fear of assault, or worse. It is no good blaming the government either. Gordon Brown did not attack the man in Warrington, nor encourage anyone to. People need to take responsibility and be held accountable for their own actions.

even though Eastenders is a soap it does reflect incidents that happen in real life!
my local newsagents had been ran by a couple for about 30 years until about 3mths ago they got robbed twice in 1 week, that was it they gave up, now the woman has went off her legs! it makes you wonder if it's because she's getting old or if it's because she's had to give up working?
I can't stand elder abuse, sadly though it happens much too often!

Yes, i feel very sorry for him and whoever attacked an old man especially when his back was turned is a sad excuse for a human being! I don't believe it was Sean, that would be too obvious, what about Craig?

I know. My sister and I are always aah-ing because we feel so bad for him because he's quite elderly now and sweet. When he stood up and said that to Carly and Deano I thought it was really good and the actor is brilliant.

Yes, I do feel sorry for him. You are right, he is a good man and I am so glad he wasn't killed or brain damaged. If it was real, you would be scared like he is! x

No. In fact I don't feel sorry for any fictional characters, though I definately wish I had fewer real people to feel sorry for.
