Would you do business with a customer like this again?

Question

Customer places large order
You accept order and tell customer the estimated ship date
Customer calls twice a day every day until order is in
When you attempt to make delivery and collect payment, customer reschedules, TWICE
Customer finally calls and explains that they do not have the money to pay for the order at this time...

Ugh! I definitely wouldn't do business with them again. How obnoxious. I used to work in a kind of swanky department store and we had a "Wall of Shame" in our storeroom which was basically just a couple of posterboards with a list of our "Customers from Hell." If we didn't know their names, we'd just describe them. I remember one being "The Tower of Rage" and another being "The Wok Woman from Hell." The funny thing is that bad customers think people don't remember them. They're the ones you remember most!

Unless they have credit with your company and make regular payments you are going to get screwed.
