I had some words put on the window of my car 2.5-3 years ago, and I want to take it off. Can anyone help me out and tell me the best way to remove it?

You don't need oven cleaner, goof off or other gimmicks. All you have to do is spray some glass cleaner on it, let it moisten up, then use a razor blade (don't worry it wont scratch your glass, make sure you use the razor in a slicing motion). That's all you have to do. Take if from a auto glass installer, i do it every day.

You can use easy off oven cleaner. But DO NOT GET IT ON THE PAINT. Put some on the rag and then put it on the lettering, and let it set for a minute or two. Then just scrap it off. I had a used car that had bumper stickers on the window and this was the easiest way i could find to take them off.

get a glass scraper, you can find it at any hardware store. And also some goof off, this works the best. then just scrape the lettering off and clean up the sticky stuff with the goof off. be careful not to get it on your paint because it can discolor it. also you will need to clean your window after wards because the goof off will leave a haze on it. you might need to clean it with the goof off a few times to get all the sticky stuff off. and you should probably use paper towels unless you don't mind ruining an old rag.

These words, how were they put on? If you had them etched into the glass, then you are out of luck. If you had them painted on the glass, then a razor blade will work to remove them, and you can use a product called oops to finish the job.

good luck.
