Where the hell did they post that from....no postboxes on an iceberg.

It was an advertising gimmick, if genuine, these were sent out from the mainland prior to the Titanic's one and only voyage.

They were obviously not sent from the Titanic because it never reached a destination for the post to be forwarded.

There were many Titanic postcards available and anyone could have used a one penny stamp right up to the 1950's

The real value would be if it was post-marked on the day of sailing or was from a known passenger sent just prior to sailing.

If it's not a fake (quite likely) it's worth a fortune. But penny reds went out long before 1912

Value is usually based on a comparison of a similar item and what it was sold for. As its ulikely that another one of these exists, it may well be a priceless item!!!
I would take it to a specialist dealer and get them to offer you something for it, but don't let them rip you off, it sounds pretty valuable to me!!!!

Its worth exactly whatever someone is willing to pay for it. same as everything else. its just a case of finding the right person.

Google "Stanley Gibbons" probably the biggest auctioneers of philately in the UK. Im posotive they will give you good advice.
