...if you can find it (...it's been on my DVD 'want' list for years, and I've about near worn out my VHS tape), you should give the 1988 real-story film, entitled "Painted Faces" a definate viewing; it's the story of Master Yu, a driven, devoted and determined teacher (played by Sammo Hung) at the old Peking Opera School, who through rigorous, and sometimes cruel training and discipline, must whip into shape, a team of young and precocious lads, who have been contracted to study under him.

A very compelling and emotionally moving drama, depicting the teacher's trials and tribulations, as he fights hard to keep his school open, despite overwhelming hardships and poverty....his driven spirit and inspiration poured into his precocious and mischievious students...three of which are based on the real-life devoted and unbreakable brotherhood, that is made up of Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan (in the film, called 'Big Nose') and Yuen Biao...

...as I said, if you can find this intense dramatization, you will be very moved and entertained...

...check it out, below!!!
