Poor night vision can be a sign of vitamin A and/or Zinc deficiency. Both are common. Have your doctor order appropriate lab tests.

Best wishes and good luck.

There are a lot of Homeopathic remedies for improving your eyesight contrary to the belief of the ignorant people. First of all you must know that Homeopathy treats the patient not the disease, naming the ailment or disorder is just the tip of the proverbial Iceberg :o). Your symptoms in complete detail have to be taken into consideration before an appropriate remedy can be prescribed for you.
For disturbance in Night Vision the following remedies are used in Homeopathy :-
Belladonna, Calladium. s., Cinchona., Helleb., Hep., Hyos., Lyc., Nux v., Physost., Puls., Strych.

But out of these to find the correct remedy specifically for you, all your symptoms are needed, if you can post your symptoms here or email them me, or any other Homeopathic practitioner can help you find the right remedy for yourself.
For a correct remedy please post or email your symptoms exactly the way you feel them.

For a brief summary on a few of the remedies used in treating the affections of the eyes you can read this article too :- http://www.hpathy.com/diseases/eyes-symptoms-treatment-cure.asp

Take Care and God Bless you

I don't think you want homeopathy fr eye treatment. Homeopathy is a system for treating disease based on the administration of minute doses of a drug that in large amounts produces symptoms in healthy individuals similar to those of the disease itself.

In other words, you are thinking of treating yourself with a drug or vitamin that in normal doses would cause vision loss. Doesn't sound like a good idea and NO homeopathy has been found to improve vision

The symptoms you describe are caused by normal aging and hardening of the lens of the eye. There really isn't any 'cure' for this until we can find a way to stop aging. There is physical correction, through corrective lenses (glasses/contacts) and different surgeries to correct the hardening and shape of the lens (e.g. laser surgery).

There are some vitamins that are important for eye health and have been shown to stop or slow some degenerative diseases of the eye. Most people get enough of these in a well balanced diet. Specific vitamins helped 10-15% of patients, those helped primarily associated with not having a well-balanced nutrition. The seller of Ocular Nutrition by the way was just fined for falsified claims and lies in its advertising for saying it had studies showing that it improved macular degeneration in patients. Nothing wrong with their vitamins, but don't expect any benefit from them.

The eye exercise programs will not work for this, they only help a very narrow set of eye conditions related to the musculature of the eye and it's general movement and coordination with the other eye.

So basically, you are doing what you can, using reading glasses when you need to. You can elect for surgery, but even this has limitations because you have to make choices about what vision to optimize (basically setting the focal distance).

Go to mercola.com ,Dr. Mercola has a great homeopathic program for repairing eyesight problems. Some of the techniques that are taught are blinking , breathing , palming ,rolling of the eyes and other easy procedures to help relieve eye strain which is probably why you need glasses in the first place. While reading (without glasses) practice looking far away then looking back at what you are reading, move your eyes while reading. I would try every one of the techniques before going to a doctor for drugs or surgery. GOOD LUCK

Sorry but you are pretty well restricted to glasses or contacts.

But with all the great new looks of glasses, and the fact they are now socially a norm, this really shouldn't be a problem.

They even have contacts you can wear at night while you sleep, take out in morning and viola, you can see.
If it is just for reading or driving, you may just have to get used to the idea

Ehm..
I'm following this system to perfect my vision with simple eye exercises http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=413. I was skeptical at first but I'm really seeing very good results so far.
I love it!
Have a nice day

I don't know anything about your condition or homeopathy, so sorry in advance... but I have heard of friends having some luck improving their vision (particularly reading, whether distance, close up, or on computer screens) through kinesiology treatments - it is sometimes (badly) described as 'kinda like acupuncture - but no needles' see if you can find a 'Touch for Health' practitioner near you - some of them are homeopaths as well and combine the two modalities (often more)

Well........ there isn't a homeopathic "remedy" for vision improvement, really, just because the requirement of glasses in due to a physical difference in your eye (the physical distance between the lens and receptors).

Also, "night vision" is seen as different problems by different people... some see it as tired eyes, some see it as trouble seeing in the dark, etc.

The only things that can really help for eye health that are herbal are Lutein, Bilberry, Eyebright, and Zeaxanthin. Some people get short-term benefits from them (not just "eye health") like less time for their eyes to adjust in the morning, their eyes not being as tired at night, etc....... but unfortunately, no herb/supplement can remove the need for glasses (I wish they could, too).

Carrots and bilberry are good for night vision. Coleus is good for glaucoma. Bilberry is also good for cataracts and age related macrodegeneration. At my local health store there is a product called Vision Defence Formula which contains bilberry, lutein, eyebright and quite a few other ingredients and that would be worth getting.

I would look into Bate's Natural Vision Cures, by Dr. Bates. There are a few different systems, but they are all pretty good. I would look at the physical as well as the mental/emotional aspects related to vision
