Woodwind.
When deciding what group to put an instrument into how the sound is made is far more important than what the instrument is made out of. A trumpet made of silver is still a brass instrument. Flutes were originally made out of wood (hence woodwind).
All brass instruments make the sound through a column of air blown through a mouthpiece - wind instruments with the exception of the flute (and relations) use reeds. As you don't use a mouthpiece on a flute to make the sound (instead you blow across the hole) the flute is a woodwind and not a brass instrument. Similarly, even though saxaphones are made of brass they are woodwind instruments, because the sound is made by a reed.
Buttons etc are also an unreliable method of classifying instruments - the trombone is a brass instrument, but it uses a slide.

Woodwind, even though it does not require a reed it is still considered a woodwind instrument and part of woodwind sections.
