Not me personally, but I know someone whose heart stopped for a short time and saw no lights, people, etc. However, he could hear perfectly well what was being said on the gurney in the emergency room the whole time.
And I have read some people see horrific images during that time. I am tempted to believe the lack of oxygen releases endorphins which usually precipitate a hallucination, but not always.
But it's pure speculation I guess.

sure, my chum Jarrott, and my chum Mike. the main in all likelihood concern this is occurring in a NDE (close to loss of existence journey) is a launch of a chemical called Dimethyltryptamine from the pineal gland. the levels of launch and the reaction to it are actually not a similar in all persons, so no longer all and sundry has a similar journey. The bible has no such experience to get this thought from. -edit- whilst i'm advantageous that Dr Alexander looked convincing, the bible needless to say says that individuals do no longer bypass to heaven or hell immediately as quickly as they die. They bypass to Sheol the place they look ahead to judgement day. Sheol is the void ... a basic grave of all mankind. Heaven and hell come later while Jesus comes returned and judges all of them as sheep (righteous) or goats (depraved), purely then do they see the afterlife. So notwithstanding human beings see as nicely blackness, isn't an afterlife spoken of in Christianity.
