I see so much on TV and in the paper about celebrities complaining about being persued by the news media and photographers...DUH they are PUBLIC figures. How much privacy do you think they really should have, considering their chosen profession...entertaining the total population?

The fact is, if we gave celebrities complete privacy, they would not be celebrities anymore. They NEED that exposure, most of them crave it and then whine about it at the same time. You can't have your cake and eat it too, y'know? You want to be famous? You've got to give up some privacy.

If they really wanted privacy, there ARE ways to do it. Me thinks they doth protest too much...(Shakespeare)

I think that there should be a clear line some shouldn't cross, and the media should respect boundaries. Like filming the stars in their homes, and during sensitive issues shouldn't be done. If their in the public, then fine, snap pictures, and be respectful of the celebs personal space.

I feel like they have sold their souls to the devil....Personally I get tired of hearing about them, but I guess that is what it is all about, making money and selling their product or merchandise.
There are very few public figures or movie personalities that can hold it together under that kind of pressure...The divorce rate and messed up kids and dirty laundry are all public domain......I think they have traded off any privacy, once they pursed their choice.....heck of a way to live.....thank you

i've got self belief all of us merits privateness, in spite of each and everything we are human. even in spite of the shown fact that, once you alter right into a action picture star being hounded by the paparazzi is a factor of the deal. I say the paparazzi ought to easily take some p.c.. than back off and permit the stars have their area, you recognize?

They spend half of their lives trying to be famous and much sought by the Press and then, the other half trying to hide from all this they have built.

I don't give autographs this week.

In a way, they shouldn't even be complaining. Good or bad, it's still publicity. :-)x
