The other side thinks it's a religious war, that means it's a religious war.
But it is NOT Christians and Jews vesus Muslims - - it is Muslims against EVERYONE. In Southeast Asia they're beheading the Buddhists.

Well, this is a rather interesting question. I'm not sure if we should change anything. I don't think the Middle East will ever see peace until the last days when there is a forced peace on them. I'm not even sure what role the United States plays at that point. The Bible is clear on the participants in those days but the US isn't mentioned. I'm really wondering what that means cause we are currently a super power. How are we not mentioned? Also, I don't think China is mentioned...it's mostly Europe and the Middle East. Now, I'm not a scholar but this seems to be what's talked about in the book of Revelations. I mean...if we're talking about a religious war and we're Christians then we should obviously look at that book when dealing with the Middle East. Anyways as we fight in Iraq, I always think about the two brothers (Ishmael and Isaac) and how there will never truely be peace (till close to the end). Maybe short periods of peace but war will eventually break out somewhere. For our sake though, we really need friendly nations over there. Alliances if you will. Yes, Saudi Arabia are our friends but enemies too. It's way to complicated for us to simply just turn our back on Iraq and leave them for Iran and etc to take over. And I really don't want to see us take on Iran. Not now. It's much too much for us. Anyways, I'm babbling now so I guess I'll leave this as it is. ;)
And yes...it's not just Christians against Muslims since these radicals kill other Muslims that they consider infidels. They kill anyone of any religion that's not exactly like theirs. But it is the two brothers still fighting to this day...Ishmael and Isaac. It's also a similitude of Jacob and Esau. The spirit and the soul fighting. This is to be interpreted inwardly as our spirit and soul too since the bible says first that which is natural then that which is spiritual. Spirit being contact with God and Soul being mind will and emotions.

I don't think we should mask it that we are Christians and we should fight all Muslims but it is obvious that for over 30 years the radical groups of Islam are at war with all other religions in this war even something like ancient Egyptian where they have tried to destroy their holy sites as well as holy sites of Christians, Jews, Hindi, and Buddhists.

It is a Fact that mohammedans have declared War on Christians, Jews, America, and Western Culture. It doesn't matter that Liberals Deny that it is a Religious Holy War, our Enemy considers it so, therefore it is. It is Foolishness for The West, and especially America to ignore this Fact.
It should indeed change the way we execute this War we are in. We must have the Stomach to fight them as Savagely as they fight US. I would not leave a City, Town, or Village standing in the mohammedan world, I would not allow any mohammedans into America, and would expel any not a Citizen. Remember how The US executed WWII ? We Carpet Bombed Germany until not a Building was left standing,Thousands of Civilians Died, we used Atomic Bombs on Japan, and those were Civilian Targets. We did what we HAD TO DO !
This Country is in very deep jeopardy, and most Americans really do not know just how deep in we are. We will disappear as a Nation if we do not change. As Israel was taken into Captivity for it's Sins, so shall America be. We have seen our last Righteous President, just as Israel had one last Righteous King, the next Two lead Israel into Judgment.

They are fighting a religious war. We are fighting a war for other interests; security + resources.
This war is senseless and stupid and will never end. Killing innocent people in the name of God is ridiculous. Religion has divided the human race and has taught its followers that other faiths are wrong, but if you were to study the major religions you'd see how similar they actually are. It's crazy and it's wrong in my opinion, but it is a reality.
I think the US is fighting a war mainly for power, money, oil, and control. Again, probably wrong, but it is a reality.
Muslims, Christians, and Jews all believe in One God but disagree on the prophet. The stories of Moses, Jesus, and Muhammed are almost identical and so are their teachings.

We are not in a war at all. The so called war is nothing more than a few people want to cause destruction of our nation. And a few people do not constitute a war. But this could all be over if we stopped sending our army into their countries and stopped supporting the repressive regimes that run their nations. We need to get out of the area. And leave them alone. But we should not just back down, if they where to attack us then we should respond and put those that would attack us down immediately

I say it's Western civilization (which traces its roots to the Judeo-Christian tradition) against those with a savage, despotic vision of the world.
I may be engaging in mere semantics here, but whatever we call it we have to fight.
I have no doubt these crazies would use any weapons they had - even nukes - on us if they could. The only things stopping them so far is their inability to do so and our vigilance, not their own benevolence.

Radical Islam has made this a war against all those who don't believe in their form of Islam.
We need to fight this head on because they don't want to live in peace with everyone respecting their views of religion.
So there is no way you can deal with it.

It's not just radical islam. There's no such thing as "fundamentalist" or radical. islam doesn't allow for moderation of non-fundamentalism. Either you're a radical or no muslim at all. If you are a true muslim, then you are required to murder all non-muslims and overthrough any non-muslim states. Anything else is not authentic islam, hence, we are in a global holy war agaist all true muslims.
