Example: Scientists debunk "Spontaneous Generation" which is the belief that life can just appear out of nowhere (such as maggots on rotten meat) yet they teach abiogenesis which teaches that way back a long time ago life came from non-life. Same thing, different term.

Its called a Theory for a reason.

Evolutionary theory posits descent with modification -- the idea that life forms changed over time and split into various, differentiated groups -- is not reliant on any particular theory about "first cause." Whether, say, a strain of bacteria sprung forth from a bucket of muck or whether some higher being was responsible for that same bacteria's appearance, the theory of *evolution* stands on its own.

While I don't know enough about modern abiogenetic theory to comfortably formulate a detailed answer, I do know enough to say that modern abiogenetic theory and the theory of spontaneous generation are not the same thing. Perhaps someone here will provide a full and accurate description of the theories, but whether someone does or not, there is plenty of information out there if you care to read it.

Whatever one's view on evolutionary theory, care should be taken to understand it. If your aim is to discredit or disprove it, however, you should read up on modern abiogenetic theory and how it differs from evolutionary theory before using the former to discredit the latter.

As for whether evolutionary theory is a bunch of hocus pocus mumbo jumbo, I don't believe it is. I believe it is a theory, I believe it is a good theory, and I also believe it is the best theory we have. But, that's my opinion, and of course you're free to take a different position altogether.

Yes. Even if we did adapt from a monkey or an ameoba or any other animal, evolutionists don't really stop to think about where THAT animal came from. We know that things just don't pop out the air into existence. The human has developed over the centuries, just not in a morphing into man from monkey way. We are more educated then the "cavemen" of prehistoric time, and we have learned to better adapt ourselves to our surroundings. I think that is the only form of evolution man has ever made.

People opposed to the Theory of Evolution seem to forget one word in the title. THEORY. This is a scientific best guess. It is in no way proclaimed as fact. Being a theory means there is evidence that supports the hypothesis, but there is not yet any conclusive proof.

Even an evolutionist will find a deep desire for the urgency to know where the source of life came from, does that mean they are all heartless with no concept of love? NO, to the contrary they love just like we do....

So case in point, if they know love," have tasted it", they know an Almighty does exist... Or so I would perceive....
They may just not want to go there , Yet....

No, every idea about life is just an idea, people believe what they want to and what they think is right, it doesn't matter because as yet nobody actually KNOWS, everything is still just a theory which may have evidence but has not been proven beyond doubt.

No.

You are wrong.

I doubt very much that you are at all interested in being proven wrong so I won't bother trying to explain it.

Scientific theories are not "guesses". They require proof and supporting, repeatable data that are under constant scrutiny.

All you have to do is study the theory and scientifically prove it is in error. But that would mean you would actually have to think and reason for yourself and do some hard work.

It's so much easier to just sit back, relax, and believe, isn't it?

Much like the Tootsie Pop question, the world may never know. I try to avoid any debates, since it involves so much guesswork and hypothesizing. Both Creation and Evolution are religions based in more faith than fact.

Yup, sounds like farce to me. Besides the theory of evolution is just a theory, it hasn't been proven. And that is why it still is a theory.
