He is on that path

He could, no one has ever had his combination of strength, balance and leaping ability to such a degree, throw in pretty good quickness, good natural ball handling ability and an eye for the basket (despite lacking proper rotation on his jumper) and he has tremendous up side. Will become better in the clutch is unselfish, good court presence, can play several positions (probably every thing but center). Two things work against him and its not his fault, one being Michael Jordan the other is that he will never be the defender that Jordan was. He can be great indeed and still not eclipse Jordan, just look at Kobe who matches up athletically pretty good with Jordan but has had no where near the impact, Kobe has won three championships is tough in the clutch and still lags well behind Jordan in my opinion. I don't think Lebron will do it but he has the tools and a chance.

Not even close and I know ya'll are sick of me saying he cannot shot well enuf. I really dont see any improvements since he has been in the league. He is 6'8 240lbs, strong and athletic, just imagine if he had a post up game with the ability to knock down his jumpers, then I will be the first to admit the guy has a chance to be the best playa ever. But as it stands, until he acquires a shooting coach he will not improve. He could probably stand some improvement on defense as well.

LeBron is good & getting better but he will never be the best ever. Greatest players were Jordan, Bird, Magic, Pistol Pete Maravich, Abdul Jabbar, just to name a few, besides I think James is a cry baby

As soon as he can start asking for the ball at the end of the game when it's close, coming through in the clutch, hitting the big shot when it counts and totally taking over the game like his predecessor MJ.

Yes, he is on that path and he is looking to get there. He will probably win a championship in the next three years. However, he might be injury plagued later like the others who weresupposed to be like mike like penny hardaway who michael jordan said he would like to pass the torch onto or len bias who died before he could become great.
