I'm a ripper by nature. People have become so disturbed watching me shred expensive and nice wrapping paper that they have taken to giving me presents in those fancy bags. Sad really, I love the whole visceral thrill of tearing through paper.

i tear it. how annoying is it when you're sitting there waiting for someone to open a present you've given them and they're just very slowly and carefully picking the sticky tape off the gift wrap (just f*cking open it you tool!!!) (i'm not a bad person).

no , very gently , i also like to keep the wrapping paper , thread and the gift bag , it is a nice souvenir or memories.

I'm inclined to rip the paper and be gentle with the bags because I want to save them for recycling. Bags are expensive.

Depends, if i can't wait I rip it open but most times I open it normally which is at the ends first , then the middle part.

I will open it gently especially if the wrapping paper was nice
and keep it.. I don't usually throw it!!

I tear it off. I have zero patience when it comes to finding out what my presents are. I'm still like a kid that way.

I try to take it off neatly for about a minute and get frustrated. Then I angrily rip it all apart argggg. Sometimes I succeed in taking it off neatly.
