I have a lot...I really remember that like I would ride home with my dad in his truck because I was haning out at the shop and I wanted to ride with my dad more than my mom...but we would listen to the radio. And Led, AC/DC, Metallica, and all those kick *** bands were playing and he would tell me about them and some of the songs I knew so we would sing along. Its still the same to this day...I will be in the car with my dad at night and we will listen to Metal till Midnight and we will be singing and my mom says we make a great pair...but yeah I love those memories with my dad and would never trade them for anything!

Anything with Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, and Metallica is a good memory. My best memories are probably when I was a little kid during the summer I would walk with my dad to a convenient store and get a drink there. Then I would pretty much sit around the house and me and my brother would do really retarded stuff all day. The other good memories were with my grandma. She always had something cool to do. We would watch Beavis & Butthead and play Nintendo or Sega Genesis. Then we would go into town and she would buy me something. Other than the fact that the convenient store is now a [illegal] drug store, that's pretty much how my summer still goes, atleast when I go to my grandmother's house.

Playing volley ball with bunches of kids from different churches on Sunday afternoon. Then, everybody piles in somebody's van and go to the Kwik Chek and get RC colas and Nehi Peach or Grape drinks.

It was somethng to really look forward to, because you KNEW the boys from the other churches were cuter and cooler than any at your church or school.

And to be "going steady" with a guy from another school? --- oh, man, you were (sizzle) SMOKIN !.................

Wearing his "ID" bracelet, or his ring, with half and inch tape wrapped around it so it didn't fall off, or have it hanging on a big hunkin' chain around your neck.

Yep.... some good memories.

My favorite childhood memory is from the Christmas when I was 7 years old.....

My brother and I got up, all excited to see if Santa had come...we tumbled down the stairs, eyes wide open in surprise....he HAD come...he had!

We're taking turns opening our presents and all of a sudden my mom starts coughing really hard....this continues for a good minute and finally my dad says to me to go into the bathroom and get her a drink of water. So I get up, throwing wrapping paper everywhere, make a path to the bathroom and get her a drink of water. I bring it back out, give it to her and ask if its my turn again.....

I don't notice the looks exchanged between my parents at this point.......more presents opened....my mom starts coughing AGAIN...saying she hopes shes not coming down with something. Once again, my dad sends me back into the bathroom to get her another drink of water......we go through this THREE times...my brother at one point said he'd go get the glass of water and both my parents screamed *NOOOOO*

Finally, my dad stands up, takes me by the hand and leads me towards the bathroom....in the hallway that leads to the basement....sits my shiney new red 10 speed bike.....I'd passed the damn thing THREE times on my way to the bathroom and didn't even see it as I was in too big a hurry to get back to the presents.....!!!!!

My dad loves to tell this story....adding in of course, that that was when he KNEW I was going to grow up blonde :) LOL....good memory!

Fireplaces... for some reason, I just get taken back to feeling like my backside was burning (because when I was a kid, i'd stand right up in front of the fireplace until my legs got really hot).

Also, being raised on classic rock... Free, Deep Purple, the Doors... good stuff...

I was just looking up all the shows and cartoons I used to watch on Nickelodeon when I was young...I had a lot of fun and flashbacks seeing them. Like the shows The adventures of the little koala, Noozles, and Duckula. I watched one episode of the koala show on Youtube and it was great! Those times and shows were definetly a best of my childhood mems.

Looking in the Sky and seeing an Eye. Thinking that there is Someone out there who is watching you and protecting you from all evil. Spiritual Father, to whom you could tell everything and who would understand you without any conditions.
