What does this reporter make on CNN? Any idea?

Depends on his deal. He could be a consultant, guarantees x number of appearances a year and given a retainer to be exclusively on CNN. I would guess he could be paid as much as six figures for that, as he seems to be on a lot. News organizations do that a lot; generals often pop up when it comes to military matters.

It's possible the good Doctor is on staff and gets something of a salary, etc. If he's doing such things as practicing medicine, though, it's a bit doubtful. The free-lance approach probably is more likely.

have no idea but am sure it is plenty and on top of the he's a neurosurgeon and an assistant professor. needless to say, he's not hurting.
