You bought the domain name: that's good! Now, you can build the web pages yourself, which would be best, but that would be a long learning process, if you don't already know how...so you probably want a free helper for now.

So, you can go to a free website building helper sort of place, and there are oh so many, as you'll no doubt see in all these answers!

At any one of them, all you'll do is, first, get an account at a freebie website building helper sort of place.

One is Google Page Creator. I usually write my own pages, but I experiment with Google for kicks. Google is flexible and easy to use.

Then go to the place where your owned domain name is registered, and go to the control panel, and set up its "dns pointers" so that they point to the host at the free website building helper host.

Then go back to the freebie host place (like Google Page Creator or whichever one you've picked) and build your website...

And there you go! Good luck!

Crikey, what a question you have asked. I would really love to tell yo to go back to your computer club and start a discussion about this. Even invite an expert to make a presentation. Anyone from a Web design service would jump at the idea. Alternatively, invite a local ISP. If I were in your area, I could easily give a two hour presentation that would explain all to everyone. I am not alone. The computer clubs I was involved with would invite an expert to every meeting. You should start doing this and make your club something special - a place of learning.

After registering the domain name, you should host the pages. You should find an hosting partner (now lot of shared sites are available) and place your files in the hosting server. Your home page file name must index.html, index.htm, default.asp like that

yes, you have to make all the webpages. does your domain name comes with web hosting? a domain name simply points to your web host. you got to have a web host to store your files.
