I'm trying to abbreviate family tree information and want to be consistent with common practices for abbreviating these two words. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Abbreviation For Township

Abbreviation For County

There are lots of ways

For county: ct., co.

for township: T., tn., Tp., twp.

I would think that the uppercase/lowercase letter would matter

However, if this is for an address, you have to use Co for county and Twp for township

county can't be abbreviated and remains county
