I think they are good listeners. I also think they are wise to only talk when they have something worthwhile to say.
I'm not a big talker and what is especially rude is when someone says "You don't have much to say do you?" The truth is they don't have much to say, they just babble words that mean nothing.

I'm very quiet and I have to work in an office where some people just yak all day non-stop and it's annoying as heck. Sometimes I just want to kick them.
But I put my headphones on to tune them out.
At least quiet people don't bother others with their constant babbling, although we do tend to be invisible at times.

I'd rather be around quiet people than the loud and obnoxious. I'm rather quiet too.
