I purchased a ge force 8500 graphics card that has pci express interface The problem is my motherboard hasn't got a pci express slot. Is their any way by which i can run the card no my pc.

dude get a connector whic can be put to the PCI slot while the other end will have a PCI express slot (Cost rs200 in bangalore)

nope, return it to the store, u gonna need to find the slot ur comp has then work from there

(ex. PCI, PCI Express, or AGP)

or get a new motherboard

to find what type u have google ur model and find it's specs, it'll say

Sorry, there is no other way but to return the card and have it replaced w/ the right one (8x AGP perhaps).

The alternative is expensive. Upgrade to a motherboard w/ x16 PCIe graphics slot.
