hello...does any one know if the council i brought my house from buys it back?and to rent it like before?

It depends on the council, give them a ring and see. If you dont have any luck try a local housing association they may buy it from you.

My daughter sold hers (ex-council) to a housing association.
They took what they wanted - gave her a few grand back -and over the last year have re-wired it and completelt up- graded it. She now also gets a small rent/council tax rebate. In the future when she's financially secure again she can but it back with a small discount. Best thing she ever did!!

best to phone them and seek advice alot of new legislation means depending on when you bought your house from the council you may have to give them first offer any way it may well be in the contract you signed when you purchased the house off them hope this helps goodluck

They could put the house on a renting contract for you as an investment.If any tenant causes damage they would be liable for the repairs.Keep an insurance for the actual property yourself though, other wise it would invalidate your morgage.

I suppose you could rent it to the Council but the tenants will probably trash it.

best thing to do chick is to phone them and ask because all councils are different hope this helps

yeh they will and why would council tenant trash it you shallow minded little person.
