If he is guilty...

To answer the question: No, Bush wouldn't pardon Vick. Karl Rove is leaving and won't be around to tell him that he needs to do it. I think we should send Vick hunting with Dick Cheney.

What I really want to weigh in on is Blaise371's comment. If you'll recall, we didn't elect Bush. In 2000, the American people elected Al Gore. After a series of voting discrepancies and court challenges in the state of Florida the United States Supreme Court, with its final ruling on Bush v. Gore, stopped ongoing ballot recounts, giving George W. Bush the electoral college victory, and consequently the presidency.

I agree it's about football, but you can't just float a misstatement of material fact and expect to not get called on it.

criminal record has nothing to do with it. When I was in boot camp in 92, there was a guy across from me who was busted for possession of coke and had the option of doing 3-5 in the big house or enlisting in a service of his choice so he could straighten his act up. Not sure how true this was, but that's what he told multiple people. Anyways, we both had the same school after boot camp, and a few weeks into the "A" school, dude popped for coke (imagine that) and was discharged. I imagine he's doing time somewhere, even 15 yrs later.

But back to the question, I doubt it. Any reason? Not really, but I don't see it happening. Then again, stranger things have happened like AI getting pardoned for his part in a bowling alley riot.

there is no way bush would pardon Vick. For one thing, one guy is not going to change anything over there, so there would be nothing gained by doing that. Second, Bush has said and done some things i may not agree with, but he's not that stupid.

First of all it's "President Bush". Like him or hate him "We as a country did elect him" so give the office the respect it deserves.

Second Michael Vick has proven time after time that he thinks only of himself and would never volunteer for the military or be willing to put his life on the line for anyone other than himself. Also if he can't handle the stress of being booed how would he handle being shot at.

Third. Jason S The government stopped allowing people to join the military in place of a jail sentence in the 60's. You got duped believing you friend. He was just a good liar or you're naive.

Iceman, I agree. This thread is about football. If you want to complain about the government got to that area and leave us alone with your petty BS about how bad that state of the country is. If you don't like it, do something about it. How about VOTE. Try to change it. Don't just whine to people you don't know.

And finally that means that there is no correct answer to this question.

I think that'd be a good idea. He'd be over there risking his life, and it may straighten him out and make him grow up! And if he went back to the NFL after that I'd be scared to see what he could with some discipline. But all said and done i don't think Vick would do anything like that.

I am with you Davy :)....... I believe someday Bush will be seen for what he is. But Michael Vick has a criminal record and probably won't be able to serve in the military, LOL.
