The closer to the election we're going to see a shift in the democrats talking points to the necessity of staying the course in Iran.

No matter who in charge we can turn Iraq over to the influence of Iran, with their intentions of creating an Islamic world.

I think they do even though the far left is not trusting Senator Clinton based on her past votes and her comments at times. Hopefully they will not have a pull out because the type of pull out the far left and the primary dem voters want will not only cause a blood bath in Iraq but put our troops in serious danger especially the ones who are left in the end. But then when did the democrats last know how to properly use the military. Somalia - No, Balkans - No, Iran to rescue hostages - No, Vietnam - No, so as far back as WWII or Korea when we had a different type of democrat one who was not scared to have a robust foreign policy that protected America's interests and prestige around the world.

I made the statement months ago (it is here on YA somewhere) that the closer we get to the primary election the less the democrats will insist on troop withdrawal. The reason is the entire "pull out of Iraq" issue was simply pandering to the anti-war base of the party. I wish people would go back and review the record.

The democrat leadership was more than happy to provide rhetoric about pulling the troops out, no binding resolutions about pulling the troops out but by no means were they willing to cut the funding which really would pull the troops out.

The reality has always been, despite the twisted, misleading pole questions, America will not tolerate defeat. The democrats know this and have no intention of being seen as the ones who caused it.

You have just got to wonder, does the anti-war left really believe that any democrat will pull the troops out? Do they really think the democrats in congress will? Do they think any of the presidential candidates will?

Yes,they will remain,a military defeat on their watch is unthinkable.
They'll get a politically correct General, shift some troops around, cut some under the rug deals involving billions of dollars, declare victory and pull out in 2-4 years,in time for elections.
Of course the "PEACE" will fall apart soon after that, just as it did in Viet Nam.

Hillary and Obama have already mentioned to the media and the American people that troops need to remain in Iraq a while, and, support fighting the Taliban in Afghanastan. So, what dis-information are you talking about?

Hillary promised health care reform midway through Bill's first term and used it as a launching pad to get him into the White House in his second term.

Six years and ZERO results.

How effective will she be after getting 4 years to pull troops out of Iraq?

The Democrats are so confused and divided that anything could happen if they take the Whitehouse. They own congress right now and have pretty much gridlocked the place to complete worthlessness. Congress now has the lowest approval rating it ever had in history.
