permutation problem?

Question

How many different words of four letters(they should not neccesarily be the part of speech) can be formed from the letters R E A C T I O N, satisfying the following conditions:
(1) the letter N must exist in each and every word
(2) the letter T is not admitted at the end of the word (so the words like REACIONT are not what asked for).

7c3 x 4! is for all the cases when N exsists

6 c 2 x 3! is for all the cases when T is at the last place.

The difference gives the answer.
