I look at a website which is about analyzing dreams and I searched for snake.
Unfortunately the website that I know is not in English so I translate it for you.

snakes are sometimes sign of problems which can block your way and don't let you improve. They can also be sign of a negative view in life or physical problems.
Rarely , snakes have a positive sign in dreams.
For example in some cultures snake is sign of strength , intelligence and knowledge.

since snake can be a positive or a negative sign only yourself can analize your dream . because we don't know about you , your life and your situation.
Consider your situation and the recent things that happened to you and see whether it was a positive sign or not.

Presuming you didn't want a scary movie or anything prior to this dream...

My take on it would be, as one of transformation. Snakes are symbols of this because they are an animal that sheds their skin. Perhaps you having been eaten by the snake and then spit back out means that you are going through a transformation of some kind. Are there changes occuring in your life? Will you be having a baby? Is there a new job or any sort of new beginning occuring?

I hope you figure it out. I wish you well.

The Snake may be a representation of absolute evil.

As in the Story of Adam and Eve.
As being swallowed up by evil.
In this story it says that woman is put an enmity with the snake.

Does the thought of embarrasing your family make you cringe? So you get eaten. Might mean you have to tackle a huge problem. Your family finds you like that and they'll be horrified, yes? Perhaps you have to deal with a serious problem and you are afraid that if you handle it the wrong way, you'll disappoint the people close to you?

Just a guess

To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream, signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you.? Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. The snake may also be seen as phallic and thus symbolize dangerous and forbidden sexuality. The snake may also refer to a person around you who is callous, ruthless, and can't be trusted. As a positive symbol, snakes represent transformation, knowledge and wisdom. It is indicative of self-renewal and positive changes. You are married and the way you expressed your dream makes me feel that something indecent or bad is going to happen. Although we consider dreams as the indication of the things to occur but we can also find the cases that dreams are also related to our past. May be something you did in your past is worrying you or may be you are feeling insecure from your spouse. Please try to check from both the sides your's as well as your spouse's. If this dream repeates please try out Yoga or Meditation. Another way is when you sleep anytime, sleep while listening to your favourite song which cheers you up. I think its good not to interpret but to get rid of it. Because it is not always true. Be positive and live healthy. Wishes....

Dreams - When you sleep the brain processes a lot of information, laying down associations, etc. What you experience in dreams is a form of sensoral gibberish, and there is no real meaning in the dreams. I could suggest you that there was a meaning a you would possebly beliefe me, but I'd rather be honest and tell you there there is no sense in what you dream. If you want to know about yourself, you should start reading your emotions instead, as emotions contains information about the state of your mind. When you have that information, it is up to you to do something about it.

whatever emotion that comes up is not anyones fault. It is just a piece of data. You can't change anything within you by changing anything in your surroundings. What is needed is to change something in yourself depending on the status information you get.

easy as that - no big mysteries anywhere.

The snake usually symbolizes the Penis, or it symbolizes Lies and deceit.............sounds like your dreaming about being rejected by your husband, or lovers Penis, they no longer have a need for sexual pleasure with you, OR you are rejecting the lies and deceit someone is telling you. Finally, you want to come out and tell your family what is going on, so you can go on with your life.
