Honestly, I'm not sure how many people truly fall in love after making calculations. First, when one person sees another person (let us presume that they are male and female respectively), he either likes her or doesn't for some reason or the other. If he likes her, he is drawn to her. The greater the liking, the greater are the chances of him coming closer to her. The growing attraction creates love for her in her mind (again I have presumed that she allows him to come close to her and is not repulsed by his presence). He doesn't know the date, hour, minute or second, when he has developed a feeling of love for her, because it came suddenly and unknowingly. All he knows is that he is deep in love with her, because now he can't live without her.
In terms of reaction, love creates a sense of sublime joy which becomes apparent in him even if he does not express the same. Most people understand when a man or a woman is in love. The radiance in their faces say everything.

Mine is a bit different, but it is close enough I suppose. I knew the moment I laid eyes on this man that he was going to be the one. I thought I had lost my mind bc there is no way that you can know that just by seeing someone one time. However, we started talking as friends and then it went a little further and then a little further than that...and so on and so on. I knew I loved him in a VERY short time. I also knew I had fallen in love with him, but it wasn't until not too long ago that I saw how badly I had fallen for him. I am one of the ones who is like a man in ways. I do not cry, I do not show emotions or feelings, you know, things like that. Well, I started getting emotional all of a sudden. Then I realized why. I would start balling if he said anything even remotely negative about me or our relationship. It was really strange. I reacted by trying to push him farther away so that I was not so vulnerable to him and would not get hurt as easily. Of course, that didnt work, it only caused problems. But now I accept it and enjoy it immensely!!! I would not change that feeling for anything in the world!

Yes, it has happened with me. There was a girl in my college whom I used to ignore and even detest at times. But slowly, I started interacting more with her (unknowingly) and after a few months I realised I have started loving her (and so was she).

I due course of time when I reflect back on this, I see that I fell in love without realising it. Now that I have, I ask myself whether it was the right thing to do. We both have our good times when we are very happy and joyous. We also fight sometimes, but it is only a part and parcel of any relationship.

Bottom line, I now react as if she was destined for me. My reasoning is that, well, there mat be other girls who might be better than her in many aspects, then why was it she who came into my life before all the others? Hindu philosophy offers an answer to this as - it is because our coming together is in the best interest for both of us, hence it happened so.

yes i fell in love when i was in highschool & the guy didn't even knwo i existed, and because i fell in love, i wrote him a love letter and gave it to him on the last day of school in grade 9, sonce then he kept staring at me like a hawk and never talked to me, also one of my closest freind's who knew i loved him so much went out with him...!!!!now i am 21 and i think i was a fool to write him that letter....
