My baby was sick in the night and we did always manage to get her to the bathroom to throw up.... Her room smells dreadful and I want to freshen it up so she'll feel better!

I'm terribly sorry your baby was ill. It breaks my heart when my children suffer with stomach bug and illness so I feel for you both. As for cleaning, whatever you do don't put bleach on your carpet. Just about anything that will take out dog or cat urine smell will also get rid of sick smell. You might also try a dilution of white vinegar. It will smell vinegary for a little while but the smell always dissipates. I've also used Fabreeze carpet and upholstry freshener and it seems to work well.
Good Luck

Baking soda and bleach. RUB IT IN, INTO THE CARPET! AND THEN GET SOME DEO! AFTER THAT, turn on the AC...put it on full blast (a few hours- do this for 2 days)....Don't go in for 2 days. After all that, it should smell better.

There is a product called "Icky Poo". You can get it on Amazon. There is no smell it can't eliminate.
