I replied to Customer Care (not that anyone will read it) that they were in violation of my 1st Amendment rights and I'd see them in court. I really think I will sue them for that--I've had enough and nothing but time on my hands. Any attorneys out there willing to take my case pro bono?
What do you think?

For everyone's information, Yahoo heavily promoted the Republican party around 2004, advertising heavily their financial services.

I have respect for both American political parties, but keep in mind the guy who created the animals for each party wasn't doing anyone any good. Elephants for a Republican? How sad is that! Donkey for a Democrat? At least the Dems knew what satire meant, and hasn't officially adopted the donkey symbol, because they know the other term for donkey is jackass and that has negative conotations.

If you're really a Republican, you wouldn't sue someover over free speech because they have the discretion to do with who they want. They own the server and stuff, they control all of us.

I think that your answer was non-responsive and in express violation of the Yahoo!Answers guidelines. This is because you responded in the form of a question, instead of an answer. Someone must have reported you and it was determined that you were non-compliant. Your 1st amendment rights were not violated as Yahoo! is a private corporation. Moreover, you sign a contract when you register that binds you to the guidelines. In addition, the Yahoo terms of use probably contain a waiver of rights/remedies provision further preventing you from suing.

Someone who read your answer did not like it. They clicked on the "report abuse" link. You then automatically got a violation notice from Y! Answers. You won't find out who blocked you. The only thing you ever get back from Y! A is "we will look into it."
Y! A is private enterprise. They don't have to guarantee your freedom of speech. Don't let it bother you.

Last time I checked yahoo is a private not public company.
What that means is that they can censor anything that they feel goes against what THEY believe.
Yahoo also protects the beliefs of others by allowing anyone to censor content.
So by suing you could be trying to censor a persons right to censor.
Can anyone say counter suit?
