I went through my list and blocked all of those who never answer my questions or ask questions. Going forward, if I don't get an email stating why you want to be my contact, your fan request gets blocked.
Those are my rules, anyone else got rules?

Sorry if it seem like an ego thing. I don't take it very seriously, but I also ask legit question that get deleted. My Qs are private, so I would assume 4 violations in one day would come from a stalker fan.

If they have good answers and questions. Then I check to make sure that they have over 300 points.

You and I have very similar rules. I just cleaned out my contacts. If they don't email me, we're through. I had a rat reporting me and it was an inside job - my Q&A are private. Nobody's getting in unless they prove they are nuts, get violations, cause trouble and pledge their undying love for one of our own that keeps getting deleted needlessly. Otherwise they can forget it.

If someone asks fun or goofy questions I think they are good to add as a contact. A sense of humor is important!!

I look through their q's and a's. If they ask or find interesting questions, I add them. If their q' and a's show them to be trolls, I block them. If their q's and a's are private I don't do anything until I see more of their answers.

It's all just digital identities and does not matter in the slightest, an email to massage an ego? are you interviewing for fans? You take this much more seriously than I do!

I usually only add people if they have contacts, questions, and starred questions unless they are new to Y!A.
Sometimes I look at their best answer percentage also.

I have started clearing my contacts too. I also agree with Damn it Joey.
Soon,my list will have the Damns,with a handful of others thrown in.

Well that is kinda mean but you gotta do what you gotta do. If someone doesnt answer one of my questions then I just assume that they are grounded from the computer or dont know the answer.

first i look at their profile and see what kind of Q&A they did!if they are good Q&A i add them!!as for some who want to become my contact.i see if they answered my Qs or if i answered theirs,if not,i don't block them i just don't add them!you have to be careful,now....sadly!!
