If you had to live with a disability, which one would it be and why? In my opinion, I would find it best to be blind so I can hear the sound of music which makes me feel very content. My sister says that she would prefer to be deaf because she enjoys movies and she would not mind reading subtitles all the time.

As much as music is my passion and I have thought deeply about this question and tried to ignore it for so long,
I think that I'd like to be deaf so I can be able to learn easier and I can see and travel to different parts of the world.
It's not the same as having music, but atlease I can have a passion for photography maybe.

I think I would rather be deaf. I once experienced a temporary hearing loss. I actually enjoyed the moment. It lasted about 2 days. I was also about 9 years old. Maybe that's why I like it. Can't hear any one telling you what you HAVE to do...Niiiiiiice!

I'm living with arthritis now, and it is really painful at times. If I had to choose between being blind or deaf, I would choose deafness, so I would still be able to see all the beauty in the world.

I tink I will have to pick deaf. I love my photography.
(funny you ask this question at the time I can spot it and can answer it. My background is disability support and service co-ordination. I also have several freinds who have severe physical disability. So I DO KNOW what it is like to live with a disability)

i think its probably easier to be deaf you wont hear any new music true but youll remember what you already know and reading subtitles is always going to be easier then learning braille , you dont get the cool dog though

id rather be deaf just because i dont think i could live without seeing where im walking etc and living in darkness if thats what it is like to be blind

i wouldnt know what to pick
if i was blind i think it would be really
hard to do stuff
and you can miss out of
some of the funnest things in life
and if i was deaf i couldnt be listening to music
and then i have to learn all that sign laungage

I've actually got scizophrenia and it's considered to be a dissabilty I much rather have this dissability than another because you can still an ordinary life if you want to.
