We're living in Canberra and my girlfriend never saw snow.
It's nearly her birthday and I'd like to bring her to the snowy mountains.

I heard sky tube (perisher blue) is a nice place but I don't know how much I would spend overall for the trip (including a few activities).

I am a student so my budget would be 300 - 500 aud for 1 night accomodation and a few activities such as skying and of course meals.

Thanks you for your help :) !

The Ski Tube is a railway - not a place to stay. Perisher Blue is a ski resort. If you want to ski, lift tickets are about $95 a day each (there may be cheaper packages for beginners), so your budget will be annihilated, without eating or sleeping.

If you just want to look at the snow you may be able to achieve it on that budget. Look for a place in Jindabyne (a sub-alpine town about 30 minutes from the snow) which will be cheaper than Perisher or Thredbo.
