I first felt the baby move at 16 weeks. He kicked my hand that I had rested on my belly. It didn't hurt at all. Since then I have felt him flutter quite a bit. It is not painful yet. I know when I was further along with my daughter it got to be quite uncomfortabe and some times painful. That was at like 7 or 8 months.

In the beginning it didn't really hurt. The farther along I got with all 3 of my kids the stronger the kicks got. My oldest son used to just love pushing his feet up into my ribs and pushing the rest of himself down into my bladder. YOWCH! It should never ever be a sharp pain, though. If you are having any sort of sharp pains then you should talk to your doc.

It didn't start getting uncomfortable until I was further along. When I was 7-9 months along, there were times he moved that were very painful. Just depends on how the baby is positioned and what he or she is pushing around in there.

In the beginning it doesn't hurt, but towards the end when there's not a lot of space you can get kicked in the ribs and other places and that hurts.

Not at first but in recent weeks some movements have made me jump as they've been quite hard and fierce (now 41 weeks)

Not the moving, but she had this nasty habit of wedging her foot kind of under my ribs that was really uncomfortable.
