lol.... my ex used to try telling me what to do, where to go who to see etc....Mmmmm so I showed him the door! No way!

Well yes and no really it depends on how much you love your partner, because in some cases people will do what there partnew tells them to do because they can do all sorts of things, but in other cases the vitim has to stick up for themselves and tell them that they can do stuff etc.

I don't have a partner, but I would definately not let him walk all over me. Someone like that is not interested in a mate, they just want a doormat!!!

He doesn't tend to tell me what to do. If he asks me to do something i usually do it. If he doesn't really want me to do something then i wont do it. I expect the same respect from him, and usually get it.
A marriage takes work and compromise and respect are the way to do it.
