Great set up! Especially once you upgrade to SLI w/ another 8800 GTS. Just make sure your power supply will also be SLI ready. 650W with strong triple +12V rails should run cool and stable all day long.

It will run anything you throw at it but, with Vista I suggest you load it up with 4 gb of ram or, with 2 GB of RAM get a 4GB Vista Ready Boost pendrive.
Pendrives need to be at least 1 1/2 times the size of your installed ram to get any added performance. Vista is a memory hog. On some boards with memory mapping you will see all 4 gigs of ram but most only show 3.2 because Vista reserves ram to run system management. Some people say it isn't worth putting over 3 in then but they dont understand that if Vista doesn't have that 800MB of ram to run the system and, even thou you will see all the 3GB if you only put 3 in Vista will still need ram to run the system with so where does it go? Into the 3 GB leaving you with about 2 1/2 gigs to play with versus 3.2 with 4 installed. If you want to really slam those big games fill it with 4 gigs and dont listen to what people who aren't hard core gamers or have Vista say! Nice video card but plan on getting a 640MB version after directx10 matures which may take up to a year!

I would wait if I were you. That's a lot of money for technology that will be outdated in a few months. Quad core is supposed to be out soon. Duo core prices should drop, and Quad Core would be better. Do not get any Windows HOME edition. They suck. For high end gaming, try to get more memory -- about 4GB.

Coool man!
That's a Beast you got there! You have got the latest stuff loaded on board which is more than enough for gaming (top graphic you will find on the market), video edit, music....etc

You can add another graphic card, thats two (SLI) to make a better faster gaming experience...
Ihope you have got a good 5.1 surround speaker system, as that sound card delivers xtremely good quality sound!!!!

it will be ok for the price but windows vista is the worst OS at the moment i have had it it was a security risk and uninstalled itselft deaming my computer useless!!! do u really need 320Mb graphics
I would suggest getting one of the new apple iMac's hence you will have to buy mac version of the games in question but then you are free from the 120,000+ viruses on pc as macs dont run .exe files it is extremely difficult to get a virus and therte are great features in mac such as garage band if i were you i would go to www.apple.com/uk (if you live in the UK) or www.apple.com (if you live any other country) and click on store, just take a look!

thats alot of money to spend on a PC like that. its high spec but not quite worth the price tag.

you could actually build one for probably £400 cheaper with better specs if you look around.

its not hard to build one, i have built my last 2 and they are fine with no probs at all. just remember that when installing a new motherboard you need a fresh install of windows.

Is still ok.. Not good at all.. The motherboard suggest to use gigabyte P35 or G35 Series.. Your ram is ddr2 how many mhz? 800? 1066? window vista is suck ^^ It will use half of ur ram.
Y dont u just use the core 2 quo q6600 processor?

Sounds like it will be a fantastic computer that you will be happy with for quite a while. But you're also paying the price for it....

Do you really need all that? (esp. graphics card, hard drive and Vista Premium)
