It looks like you installed (or reinstalled) Win XP Pro on an old PC but did not install the graphics driver.

Click Start, click Run, type dxdiag, click OK. Choose Display tab on the new window. Your graphics device and driver should appear there. If not, install the driver. If it is onboard graphics, it is in the same CD as the chipset drivers. If it is a discrete card, it has its own driver CD. If none, download from the maker's website.

The game you are trying to play requires a better video card than you have, which appears to be the only thing you didn't list. Look at the system requirements for the game and buy a card that at least meets or exceeds what you need to run the game. Make sure you have ram and cpu that meets the requirements of the game also. Under "display adaptors" in device manager make sure your card doesn't have yellow ? or ! and doesn't show up as a VGA adaptor. If it does get some drivers for your card, install them and try it.

You probably need a better graphics card. Is it a pretty new game? I would check the box and see what their requirements are for graphics/video cards.

To check which one you have, simply right-click on my computer and then 'Properties' then click on the tab that says 'Hardware' and then the button that says 'Device Manager'

Graphics Cards are under the heading 'Display Adapters'

Graphics Accelerator = a video card.

maybe the game which you installed is graphic-intensive, therefore you need to buy a new one.

check google and/ or some auction sites like newegg or ebay about purchasing a good video card
