I do not understand why people ask such questions. Looking back at history Kashmir was an independent state, sold by the British. The rest what happened after that is history. The present day Kashmir is not on either India Map or Pakistan map. That is the reason for the problem

What decision, Kashmir decided to merge with India, Pak didnt like it sent its men to loot, kill. Wiped out more than half of Hindus from there and now claim to help them for freedom ?
Indian govt never had the guts to kick them out and today its the fear of nuclear war added to it. Simple decision is Pak should move out of Kashmir and remove all its illegal people from there.

i think the hatred between the two countries fighting for Kashmir
is so intense that this dispute will never end, even if the issue is politically resolved it will result in intense insurgent violence
for the continuation.

Eradicating Islam from anywhere the infection is present is the only effective solution. Why India hasn't been able to get that done is anyone's guess.
