hii,

first check your power supply fan. if not rotating then the power supply is damage.

if your power supply is OK, it must be your Motherboard.. or the cables from your power supply to the motherboard

cheers

To test your power supply, disconnect it from the motherboard. Shorten the green wire from the 20 pin Molex plug to ground with a piece of wiring. That could start it up. (Some power supplies measure the ballast on the 5volt output.)
If the power supply-fan is spinning, it works.

If you have a multimeter, you could test the power button.
If both are fine, make sure you connect the buttons to the motherboard in the right way. Also connect the 4 pin Molex if possible.

The green LED on the motherboard is just to show that it has power (3,3v sense).
If the RAM, CPU fan or CPU would malfunction, the motherboard would beep at start-up. Bios battery is just to remember settings when disconnected from mains.

there are some diagnostics for that.. since you already enumerated things you noticed,, it will be easier to diagnose the prob..

did you change any hardware or did something on your pc?

led light on mobo means your mobo is getting enough power.. there might be prob with power supply since other parts are not getting power form the power supply.. check all cables, there might be some loose connection.

there might be prob with the fan, that is pretty much not the case..

also with the battery.. my sis pc will not turn on also.. even monitor and all.. they though we need to replace the motherboard but when we checked everything and used a working battery, it turned on..

it might be also the bios battery.. you can purchase one 1st to test..:)

also last will be the cpu.. if replacing battery and mobo did not work, well it could be the cpu.. you can ask help form a tech near you just to make sure.:)
