I installed a new copy of windows xp professional in the same drive where i had win xp earlier by formatting the parition.
while xp set up I got ther error that "An error occured during installation of this hardware : System " !
when windows loads, i get the blue screen error 00007b. However i can get into safe mode. when i try to enter the BIOS setup by pressin F12, i am not able to enter it. it is giving the followin error message:
PXE-E61: Media testing failure. Check cable
PXE-MOF: Exiting intel boot agent.

I need to get into the bios for enabling my pc to use external graphics card.
Please help me to
1) get into the bios
2) as well as solve the windows issue.

Power ON, press Del or F2 to open BIOS menu.

Onboard graphics is usually automatically disabled when BIOS detects a card on the graphics expansion port.

Better repair that XP installation first. It will just be unstable.

first thing i would do is to do a "repair install" from the xp CD. (just start from CD and follow instructions to repair a current installation)
