Yes! I was 12, and if McClaren puts Ashton, Parker and Anton in the squad, there is no reason why West Ham can't win the World Cup again. Blimey! maybe England should play in Claret and Blue and maybe Wembley should be known as Upton Park................Yeah, I do like a wind up........COME ON YOU IRONS.

Yes, indeed, I was eleven and had supported West Ham since 1964 when they won the FA cup.I remember running 2 miles home to watch the first game v Uruguay. It was a disappointing 0-0 draw.I can still see Hurst's header in the QF v Argentina and the final was great too. Well done the Hammers.

The World Cup is a football competition between countries. West Ham is not a country (although if you have ever been there you might not believe you were still in England)
West Ham United is just a 2 division football team. Not capable of winning anything at present.

Bobby Moore OBE was never knighted. But he was inducted to the Hall of Fame.

If memory serves there were 11 players on the field that day...the 3 Hammers wouldn't have done athing without the support of the rest of the team.
