Since i was 5 years old i have dedicated all my time to basketball. I have had personal coaches paid by my parents & have won at the national level at many ages. My high school team won state championship last year. I am ranked at the top 50 at the highschool level even though i am a freshman, & am considered a child prodigy since the age of 12. The problem is that people feel intimidated by my presence & i dont know what to do. My only friends are some of my teammates Whenever i walk into a room, like the cafeteria, people stare at me. I started taking mixed martial arts 1 year ago because Older guys than me always want to start fights & try to beat me up. As a result I have been suspended from my schools 3 times. The principle told me if it happens again, i will be expelled from the school. I dont know why they pick on me so much. It's not like i am short or cocky, cocky maybe a little but not that i go telling people that i am better so i dont see what is the prob what should i do??

You shouldn't quit basketball if that's what you're asking. Start talking to people more often, like, the people sitting next to you in your classes. Show people that you're more than a great basketball player, that you can be nice and friendly. You'll make more friends and word will spread that you're friendly so less people will be intimidated by you. The guys that pick fights with you are just jealous because you play better than them. Only losers would pick fights over something like that.

good that you are taking mixed martial arts... not good that you are the one being suspended... there's only one way: be happy with who you are, because one day you will be in a better position than all of those people who were jealous of your natural talent
have you ever heard of Christina Aguilera's story... how she was being treated badly, because of her talent? Look where she is now.

the fact that uve posted this like 5 times is getting annoying. I think your just posting it so everyone knows 'your a child prodigy'. I suggest being more friendly with people and not bring up basketball because that will annoy/piss off alot of ppl
