It's bogus. I love this section from Wikipedia.

Common sense is sometimes regarded as an impediment to abstract and even logical thinking. This is especially the case in mathematics and physics, where human intuition often conflicts with probably correct or experimentally verified results. A definition attributed to Albert Einstein states: "Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen."

Common sense is sometimes appealed to in political debates, particularly when other arguments have been exhausted. Civil rights for African Americans, women's suffrage, and homosexuality—to name just a few—have all been attacked as being contrary to common sense. Similarly, common sense has been invoked in opposition to many scientific and technological advancements. Such misuse of the notion of common sense is fallacious, being a form of the argumentum ad populum (appeal to the masses) fallacy.

Absolutely. When you have friends who cry about paying child support yet continue to have unprotected sex and are expecting their 9th kid, then you realize that some people have no common sense. It's truly amazing that some people cannot look at dangerous situations and acess risk before engaging in activities that could cause them great harm. In the case of the poor children who will without question suffer from at least one of their parents, they will be the one's suffering. Then again, these friends probably couldn't spell "responsibility."

It used to be...in fact, there isn't a day that goes by that someone doesn't say, "How could I have been so stupid?" to themselves. Hence the saying "Haste makes Waste".
I'm a common man that loves his common sense, and I have plenty to share, lol.

Not so common anymore... it seems like some people don't want to take the time to think anymore, and just do whatever comes to mind first.
