Yes, it is normal to have a bit of bleeding occur for a time as the body adjusts to being on the medication, but because you mentioned that the bleeding started again I would recommend checking with your doctor any way to see what they say.

Personally I believe pills should never be taken. I have strong reasons for this belief. Pills cause more hormonal imblance rather than bringing it to normal. Females who never took pills or hormones are have more healthy reproductive health rather than their counterpart. Pills may lead to distrubed menses, heavy painful bleeding, ovarian cysts, and so many other problems.. You should adopt a natural way of living, follow traditional methods which are far more effective than the pills. There are herbs like Ashoka, Lodhra, Shatavari (Shat-means 100, vari means times)..Shatavari (Asparagus)gives strength to female reproductive organs so that they can even give birth to 100 children in their life (an mythological analogy) So you can use these herbs to keep the hormones in balanced state rather than going for pills.......for free consultations you can visit www.planetayurveda.com , as the MD (Ayurveda) experts offer free consultations at that site..It is a good one.

Very normal. I have heard of alot of girls who experience breakthrough bleeding when hey start taking yasmin. Give it 3 months. Let your doctor know whats up, but if you are still experiencing breakthrough at 3 months than you will probably need to switch your birth control.

It happens. Totally okay, and it should resolve itself soon enough.

Don't bother listening to the first answerer. He's pushing an agenda. BC pills are proven to reduce your risk of reproductive cancer, and may reduce the risk of heart disease. And they don't cause ovarian cysts or irregular periods, in fact, they're used to treat those conditions. Plus, they're the most effective way to avoid pregnancy!
