Yeah we are playing CRICKET not FOOTBALL.
And LBW is given out when playing in the line of ball which is supposed to hit when not played by BAT. If u try to avoid the ball hittin the stumps delibrately then also its given out.
Ya putting best foot forward help u to get to the pitch of ball and play it, and puttin best foot forward dosen't mean that u keep puttin for every ball n play football.

Yeah you have to put ur best foot forward in d sense make the right move...and not the wrong move such as to earn a LBW decision...hope that's clear enuf :)
btw there r many sayins n phrases but u cant relate them to anything n everything in real life...cya..
