Should Marvan Atapattu retire from international cricket?

Is not if he should, its what he did for Sri Lanka.
His sub-contract has expired therfore, he will now take 500,000,000 thousand & play with the I.C.L.....

He also had back problems.........

&

"Marvellous" Marvan Samson Atapattu an patient opening batsman that lead the batting averages among Lankan Lion players in World Cup 2003. He made 382 runs with an average of 54.6.

He scored two centuries - 129 against South Africa & 127

VS Zimbabwe. Sri La won both matches.

He was the man of the match on both occasions
& was number 4 in the line up for Man of th Series award....
wtf was he a "Captain" at the time NO however, played like a real "Captain" & not a Vice Captain.

ODI Debut: India at Nagpur, 1990.

School: Ananda College.

Club: SSC & heck with the (I.C.L.)

Born: November 22, 1970 at Kalutara, Sri Lanka.

Well done & fantastic career for the Lakan lionzzzzzz.
Bravo!
CASE CLOSED.

Marvan Atapattu is a great player. In a letter to the Cricket Board he has requested that he be relieved of his contract ending weeks of speculation that he had signed up with the rebel cricket series to be conducted by ESSEL Group in India. He is 37 years old. So I think if he wants to join some other project for his better future he should be retired.

Yes he should, the Sri Lankan team is very talented so it won't make any difference without him.
