Do you mean for yourself, or for a whole organisation.

Passwords are vulnerable because of poor passwords chosen by users. They are also a problem if they are not changed.

Some systems support a password check that bans easy to guess passwords. However I lean towards education. Making sure people know how to select good passwords and why.

Be aware that making people change their passwords too often create problems. In that users write their passwords down on a post-it note they stick on their computer.
