Both gassed their own people. WHould you have been content if Hitler just killed within his own border? do you know how many german civilians died during our bombing there --- especially Dresden? Tell me what is the difference, except for scale?

Do you wanna say we should only fight evil if evil hits us? Do you wanna say becuase we are not in Darfur, we should be nowhere? Remember -- many say we only entered WWII becuase west europe owed us MONEY. Kinda like oil. Was it still wrong?

Because Bush is the one that got rid of Saddam.
Bush could come up with a way to make their prophet, Al Gore, immortal and they'd find something to blame him for.
Had it been Gore, or any other Democrat who called for Saddam's head during the 90s, it'd be ok.

Did Reagan's state department authorize cultures of microorganisms that could be weaponized to be sent to Hitler?
Did Reagan supply Hitler with dual purpose chemicals and the planes to deliver them as chemical weapons?
Did Hitler have a real army that was a real threat, and a growing one?
The military is still to this day figuring out some of the toys they found in Hitler's weapons program, decades after the problem, they are still realizing how much more of a threat Hitler was, than they previously thought.
No, we shouldn't be building people up, just so they are a bigger threat.

It is. Sadam was a deplorable leader and deserved what happened to him. But why are you blaming the liberals?
Who gave him the weapons he used to commit the genocide against the Kurds? And why was he not removed from power at the end of the first gulf war? You blame the liberals like they are the only ones in this country with any faults, but the conservatives had the oval office during the first gulf war and just walked away leaving a genocidal leader in power.

Do you think that we went after Hitler because of what he was doing? If Japan had not bombed us, would we have entered the war? It was going on long before we entered the war.
If that was why we went after Saddam, what about all the other that are doing the same thing right now? Darfur?
AND please, we did not go after him because of that.

There is no difference. If Saddam had had the strength, he would have loved attempting the expansionism of Hitler and rolled over anyone who got in his way.
Liberals, who claim to be so PC, have an obvious bias against those living in the ME.
