Nah...
Sorta a nice thought, but lets ponder here, shall we?
If it weren't for pain and misery, would joy and relief be so great? Would sunny days be so special if it weren't for rain?
Sometimes, to enjoy the silky swim in the warm pool, you have to go through the ice cold rapids in the lake.
Or hit that abnormally warm spot of the pool, where you are pretty sure someone else pee'd in it [i have no clue where that thought came from]
That way when you are finally about to leave the water, you can look back on your swim, and think "Wow, that was diverse."
Way too many metaphors in here...

Your question is probably the most tempting thought that has been posted on this site in a very long time. .Past experiences remind me that even the most perfect pool will develop bacteria if it is not cleaned periodically. And so it is with life. I always stumble over the word "always". For me it implies "Monotony". A swim in a silky warm pool occasionally would provide us with the relief we need from the anxieties which we all develop over one thing or another..
Would we really appreciate life if everyday was the same? I don't think so, and I don't think that life was designed without challenges and sometimes sorrow. How would we not only
recognize but experience success and joy if all we knew was
swimming in that warm silky pool forever?
