Every pregnancy is different. Has your doctor shown any concern about the weight you have gained, or the movements? In your last trimester, you should make sure you feel at least 10 kicks in one hour. As for the weight gain and the size of your belly, as long as your baby is measuring to your due date, I wouldn't worry. You may just carry small.
Congratulations!

Well I certainly hope you are going to regular check-ups because the doctor keeps track that the baby is growing o.k.
Some babies are very small...gain weight in the last few weeks....and some women don't seem to gain that much....you also could be off on just how pregnant you are.
The moving is the baby shifting around and kicking, even getting the hiccups. That is all perfectly normal ...and if the baby stops moving, you would probably get worried.
At the last the baby will drop into position and move totally around for the head to come first. The doctor will also be watching that as well. So be sure you get your check-ups....very important!

Are you sure you're 25? If you really are 8 1/2 months pregnant, you should have been feeling the baby kicking for a while now (since 4 or 5 months). Some women are small but your doctor should be examining you regularly and let you know if you have any problems.

Hey you sound JUST like me. I'm 8 mos and I look about 5. I saw a picture of a friend of mine when she was 5 mos and she looks how I look at 8 mos... I think I look more like I've gained weight as well but you can definately see my pregnant belly and it's roundness so I don't look fat. Lots of people say I still am pretty small even though I can see a change in how thick my arms and legs are. I'm 5'4" and 150 lbs as of 5 days ago. I've gained 28 pounds!!! Ugh... I guess you and I are lucky! I see women out there, even if it's their first baby, looking HUGE! It's confusing becuase I know my baby is as big as theirs, so why is their baby house bigger than mine? Oh well...

All women carry different. Some look like they swallowed a basketball, others have tiny tummies. Start monitoring your babys movements. Does the baby move at about the same time each day? If so, good sign! Babies have lazy days too so if the baby doesn't move a lot for a day or so don't stress. Eat well, drink a lot of water, and take your vitamins! If you're still in doubt see your doctor! All the best to you!

It's very normal, with my first pregnancy I was small, but did gain about 25 lbs, and my second pregnancy I only gain 15lbs and also didn't show until I was 8 months and had a 9 lb baby. I wouldn't worry about it and the noise I'm pretty sure it's just gas. Good Luck!!!

If you are seeing your doctor regularly, he or she should be able to tell if the baby is developing normally. Your baby may just be small, after all, you are only 5'4". Some women carry their babies in utero differently, and they do not look as big.
Movement is normal at this stage of the pregnancy. It usually starts at about 3-4 months, and it gets stronger as the baby grows.

I was the same way with my first child, and she is 4 now and very healthy. If you are young and have a high metabolism, this can very easily happen. Also, if you are on any medication that affects your metabolism.
I could hide the fact that I was pregnant up until my 8th month. It was strange for other people to see, but it helped me get back in shape faster after birth. Good Luck and God Bless!

Have you been seeing a doctor on a regular basis? If not, you need to right away. You should feel the baby completely, see little legs and hands and feet. Even if you are small, it should still be solid, not jiggly. I would definately go see a doctor or a hospital. Good luck though. I hope everything is fine.

not all women carry the same i too was very small with both my children. tho neither wear very big both wear healthy. I understand how it fills to be small and not to show. having people say things like oh your pregnant. I always wondered how they couldn't now or if they thought i was just getting chunky. the movement and noise are normal one thing about being small in the stomach is you fill things more.
